If you are staring at an EverAI charge on your statement, the first suspect is Candy AI. EverAI Limited is the company behind candy.ai, and “EverAI” is the name Candy’s own help center says appears on the card statement when you subscribe. The amount then does the rest of the identifying: it should match one of the plan prices below, or a token top-up.

Banks print the merchant, never the plot, which is the whole point of discreet billing. It is also why this page gets searched. Candy’s FAQ says your statement carries no direct reference to Candy AI, and EverAI sounds like a company that makes either wedding software or a very serious robot. That protects privacy, and it makes a perfectly ordinary charge look like a stranger.

Here is what the line is, which amount means what, how renewal works, how to cancel, what the refund rules say, and what to do if you really don’t recognize the charge. I can’t see inside anyone’s account, so the steps come from Candy’s terms and help center, as of October 15, 2026. None of it is legal advice.

What the EverAI charge on your statement is

Candy’s help center says that if you subscribed, the charge shows as “EverAI” on your statement. The subscription page says the same thing beside the price. The terms of service name the operator as EverAI Limited, registered in Malta, and the standalone Candy Shorts site names the same company, so a purchase there may carry the same line. I haven’t bought there to check.

Two limits. I can’t tell you how the line looks at every bank, since some add extra text or a location. And I can’t say what a crypto or bank-transfer payment shows, because Candy doesn’t say. EverAI is also a bare brand name that may mean other things, so I can vouch only for what Candy publishes. If you never signed up for Candy, skip to the section on unrecognized charges.

Which amount matches which plan

The amount is the best clue. These are the public plan prices as of October 15, 2026:

Best value

12 months

$3.99/month

$47.88 billed yearly

  • 100 tokens every month
  • A 12-token episode ≈ $0.48 of your plan
  • Renews automatically, cancel any time

3 months

$8.99/month

$26.97 billed every 3 months

  • 100 tokens every month
  • A 12-token episode ≈ $1.08 of your plan
  • Renews automatically, cancel any time
Intro offer

1 month

$13.99/month

First month $9.99, then $13.99

  • 100 tokens every month
  • A 12-token episode ≈ $1.68 of your plan
  • Renews automatically, cancel any time

Premium on Candy AI, checked October 15, 2026. Prices in USD; Candy shows your local currency at checkout and local taxes may apply.

See the Premium plans
Your statement shows Most likely source How often
$47.88 12-month plan Once a year
$26.97 3-month plan Every three months
$9.99, then $13.99 1-month plan Monthly
Something else A token top-up, taxes, currency conversion or another purchase Usually one-off

Candy shows your local currency at checkout, and local taxes may apply, so the amount can differ a bit from the plan card. Your bank may also convert currencies. Token top-ups are a separate purchase: Candy says you can buy more tokens at any time, but it doesn’t publish pack prices where I could read them, so I can’t match a top-up to an amount. See the tokens guide.

I also saw weekly and two-week billing blocks in Candy’s checkout code that no plan card offered me, so I can’t rule out that other cadences exist in some regions. If the amount fits nothing above, that doesn’t automatically mean fraud, and it doesn’t mean everything is fine either.

When it renews

Every plan card says the subscription renews automatically for the same price and term, and the terms add that subscription prices can rise from time to time at Candy’s discretion. So the 12-month plan renews for another $47.88 in one charge, even though the tokens arrive monthly. On the 1-month plan, watch the step from $9.99 to $13.99.

A calendar reminder that says “EverAI renews tomorrow” is the least glamorous appointment I own, and it is the only thing between you and a surprise. If a renewal charge fails, Candy’s terms let it charge a backup payment method you saved, so a charge can land on a second card.

To change the card, open Settings and choose Change payment method. Candy says that option is only available for card payments and doesn’t appear after a cancellation.

How to cancel Candy AI, step by step

  1. Log in to your Candy account on candy.ai. If you’re stuck, the Candy AI login guide has the fixes.
  2. Open the My Profile menu.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Scroll to the bottom: your subscription details and an Unsubscribe button are there.
  5. Click Unsubscribe and follow any prompts to confirm.

After that, Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and you aren’t charged for the next one. Candy says you can’t pause a subscription, only cancel it. Deleting your account before the renewal date also cancels the subscription, but deleting removes your content permanently, so cancel first if you want to keep the account.

Heads-up: canceling is not a refund request. Candy’s help center says you must contact support separately, inside the refund window.

Spend your tokens before the period ends. Candy’s terms say remaining tokens expire after a subscription ends, while a help-center article says canceling doesn’t delete them, and as of October 15, 2026 the two disagree.

Refunds: the window and the rules

Candy’s rules are short and unglamorous, like a fire exit:

  • You can ask within 24 hours of paying, and the request is denied if you have used more than 20 tokens, however quickly you ask.
  • Only card payments can be refunded.
  • Canceling doesn’t count as asking. Email Candy support at support@candymail.ai within the window and say you want a refund. Candy’s help center asks for the email address on the account and the last four digits of the card in similar cases, so have both ready.
  • If you live in the EU or UK, you can withdraw from the initial purchase within 14 days, with a prorated amount deducted for what you used. That right covers the first purchase, not renewals.
  • A refunded subscription is treated as canceled right away, and its remaining tokens are revoked. The terms say the same happens if a chargeback is filed.
  • Candy won’t refund where the problem was a technical issue on your side.

Those are Candy’s rules as published, not a prediction about your case. For the full rule text, read section 10 of the terms of service.

If you don’t recognize the charge

  1. Search your inboxes. Look in every address you use, including spam, for a receipt from Candy or EverAI.
  2. Check who has the card. Shared cards, a partner’s wallet app and old subscriptions are the usual suspects.
  3. Compare the amount with the table above, in case you recognize it after all.
  4. Still nothing? Contact your card issuer. They can investigate the charge and block or replace the card; that is their process, not mine.
  5. Tell Candy support. Send the email on your account and the last four digits of the card, so they can check whether the charge is theirs. Candy’s help center asks for exactly these details when someone asks why they are still being charged after deleting an account.

Charged twice? Check whether the two lines are different things first: a renewal plus a token top-up, two accounts, or a temporary hold that later drops off. Banks differ on how they show that. If both charges are real and identical, send support the details and tell your issuer. I found no Candy article about double charges.

Be wary of any message that offers a refund through a link. Candy’s published route is a request to its support team, so a stranger pushing you toward a payment page is a red flag.

If the charge turns out to be yours and you haven’t used what it bought, the quickest way to spend tokens is a Short. Start with the free episodes, then unlock what you want.

Questions people ask

What is the EverAI charge on my card?

It is how Candy AI bills subscriptions. Candy's help center says the charge appears on your statement as 'EverAI', and EverAI Limited of Malta operates candy.ai. Compare the amount with the plan prices: $47.88, $26.97 or $13.99, plus local taxes. If you never signed up for Candy, treat the charge as unrecognized and contact your card issuer.

Is EverAI the same as Candy AI?

For billing, yes: EverAI Limited is the company named in Candy's terms as the operator of candy.ai, and its terms for the standalone Candy Shorts site name the same company. 'EverAI' is also a bare brand that may mean other things, so I can only vouch for what Candy publishes. Match the amount and your email receipts.

How do I cancel Candy AI?

Log in, open My Profile, click Settings, scroll to your subscription details and click Unsubscribe, then confirm. Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and you won't be charged for the next one. Candy says you can't pause a subscription, and canceling does not request a refund.

Can I get a refund from Candy AI?

Sometimes. Candy refunds a subscription only if you ask within 24 hours of paying and have used 20 tokens or fewer, and only for card payments. Canceling doesn't count as asking; contact support separately. EU and UK buyers can withdraw from the initial purchase within 14 days, with a prorated deduction.

Which payment methods does Candy AI accept?

Candy's help center lists credit and debit cards, crypto, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfer (Volt, Pix), and says methods vary by location. The checkout I saw showed Apple Pay, Visa and Mastercard. I found no official mention of PayPal or gift cards. Refunds are possible only for card payments.

What do I do if I was charged twice?

First check whether the two charges are different things: a renewal and a token top-up, two accounts, or a temporary hold that drops off. If both are real and identical, email Candy support with your account email and the last four digits of the card, and tell your card issuer. I found no Candy article that covers double charges.
