Candy AI cost comes down to one fixed number and one question mark. The fixed number is the plan: $3.99 to $13.99 a month, depending on how long you commit. The question mark is what you pay when the 100 monthly tokens run out, because Candy does not show top-up prices to anyone without an account.

I have done this maths on a napkin, in a spreadsheet and once at 1 a.m., and the three answers agreed only after I removed my optimism from the spreadsheet. Below you get the plans, the real bill for three kinds of use, the promo code answer, and the small print that changes what you actually pay.

Every Premium plan includes unlimited text chat and 100 tokens a month; the plans differ only in how long you commit. The catch is the tokens. On the 12-month plan you pay $47.88 up front, but Candy’s help center says yearly subscribers receive their 100 tokens each month, on the day of the month they subscribed, not as one lump. A longer plan makes each token cheaper without making your monthly pool bigger.

A higher tier, Premium Plus, lists 330 tokens a month and early access to new characters. I found no public price for it, so it is not in any of the maths here.

Heads-up on currency: the figures on this page are the numerals on Candy’s plan cards. On October 15, 2026, from a European connection, the cards showed them with a euro sign, and Candy says local taxes may apply. Your own checkout screen is the only number that counts.

What you pay in month one, month four and month twelve

The 1-month plan is cheapest on day one at $9.99 and priciest over a year, because the introductory price covers one month and then it is $13.99. Twelve months of that comes to $163.88: the intro month plus eleven at full price. Four quarters on the 3-month plan come to $107.88. One year on the 12-month plan is $47.88.

The crossover arrives early. A fourth month on the monthly plan already puts you past the price of the whole year. Here is the cheapest plan for each length of stay, assuming the intro price still applies when you subscribe:

You stay Cheapest plan You pay
1 to 2 months 1 month $9.99, then $13.99 each month
3 months 3 months $26.97
4 months or more 12 months $47.88

The annual plan is the gym membership I would actually use, since no gym has ever ended a workout on a cliffhanger. It is also the only plan that costs you real money if you forget it exists, because it renews for another $47.88. Set the reminder the day you pay.

Candy AI cost by use case: chat only, chat plus Shorts, heavy generation

Chat only

Unlimited text chat is included, and ordinary chatting does not spend tokens. If chat is all you use, your bill is the plan price and nothing else: $3.99 a month on the 12-month plan or $13.99 on the monthly one. The tokens sit there unused.

Chat plus Shorts

A paid Candy Shorts episode costs 12 tokens, or 30 on a Candy Creators series, the licensed AI twins of adult stars. A standard five-episode series has three paid episodes, so finishing it takes 36 tokens, and one month’s allowance covers two of them with 28 to spare. A Creator series takes 90 tokens, nearly the whole month.

What finishing a Candy Shorts series costs on each Premium plan
SeriesTokensShare of a month12 months3 months1 month
Standard series (5 episodes)
3 paid × 12 tokens
36 36% $1.44 $3.24 $5.04
Candy Creators series (5 episodes)

90 90% $3.59 $8.09 $12.59
Longest we cover: YES MA'AM
25 paid × 12 tokens
300 300% $11.97 $26.97 $41.97

Dollar figures are the plan price spread over its 100 monthly tokens (regular prices, checked October 15, 2026), not a separate charge.

In dollars, a 12-token episode works out to $0.48 on the 12-month plan and $1.68 at the regular monthly price. That is the plan price divided by tokens, a pessimistic count because the plan also pays for chat. For which series to unlock first and which to skip, is Candy Shorts worth it does the picking.

Heavy generation

Images, video, voice messages, voice calls (beta), private content packs and custom characters all draw from the same 100-token pool as the Shorts. Candy does not publish what each one costs to guests, and the figures that float around forums contradict each other, so I will not repeat any. A pool that size will not stretch far if you generate a lot, and every token spent on a video is one not spent on an episode. Candy AI tokens explained lists what each feature draws on.

The question mark: top-ups and token expiry

What a top-up costs

When you run out, Candy lets you buy more tokens at candy.ai/tokens. As a guest I was redirected to the sign-in page when I opened it, so pack prices are not public, and I will not guess. The one official hint is a help article that calls 200 tokens a $20 value, which implies about $0.10 a token. That is a marketing valuation, not a price list. If it is representative, a 12-token episode bought with top-up tokens runs about $1.20, against $0.48 out of a 12-month allowance.

Read that as a rule of thumb: the allowance is the cheap token, a top-up is the expensive one, and the sensible plan is to live inside your 100. Premium Plus lists a 10% bonus on top-ups for quarterly and yearly plans, which would help on paper, but there is no public price to weigh it against.

Do unused tokens expire?

Candy’s terms say that when a subscription ends, remaining tokens expire and are not carried over or refunded. A help-center article says cancelling does not delete your tokens and the balance stays on your account. As of October 15, 2026 both are still live, and they cannot both be right.

I also could not find whether unused tokens roll from one month into the next while you stay subscribed. The help center says tokens reset each month with your renewal date, which does not promise a rollover. Treat tokens as use-them-or-lose-them and spend them before the period ends.

Is there a Candy AI promo code? No public one I could verify

No. I found no public promo code, coupon or discount link on Candy’s plan page or in its help center, and I will not hand you one from a coupon list I cannot check. The real discount is built into the plan: the 12-month plan at $3.99 a month against $13.99. I redid the division on Candy’s 70% off badge and it holds up. The catch is that “off” compares with a monthly price you may never pay, and you hand over $47.88 at once.

Two things look like discounts and are not codes. The 1-month plan showed an introductory $9.99 for the first month on the day I checked; I cannot tell whether it is a limited promo or depends on your region, so read the card. And Candy’s terms say it may give selected users bonus-token rebates at its own discretion, which is nothing you can type into a box.

Candy also pays in tokens, not dollars, through its referral program: 200 each once a friend subscribes to Premium. That helps if you already pay, and does nothing for today’s bill. If a coupon site or video promises a code, check the checkout total before you pay; a code that works shows its discount first.

What can change the bill: renewal, refunds, taxes and the billing line

Heads-up: every plan renews automatically for the same price and term, and Candy’s terms say prices can rise from time to time. Check the card before each renewal. Candy says you cannot pause a subscription; you can only cancel.

  • Cancelling: go to Settings and press Unsubscribe. Premium stays active until the period you paid for ends.
  • Refunds: Candy refunds a subscription only if you ask within 24 hours of paying and have used 20 tokens or fewer, and only for card payments. Cancelling is not a refund request; you contact support separately inside the window. In the EU and UK there is also a 14-day withdrawal right on the initial purchase, less a prorated amount for what you used, and it does not cover renewals.
  • Payment methods: the help center lists credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, crypto and bank transfer (Volt, Pix), varying by location. PayPal and gift cards appear on no official page I found.
  • The billing line: the charge appears as EverAI, not Candy. The EverAI charge page shows how to recognize it.

Which plan fits which person

Stay on the free tier if you have not watched the free episodes yet. The free tier guide shows what you get for nothing, and it is more than you would expect.

Take the 1-month plan if you want one series and a clean exit, and you will set a reminder before it renews. Take the 3-month plan if you know you will stay about a quarter. Take the 12-month plan if you expect to stay four months or more, are comfortable paying $47.88 at once, and want the cheapest tokens.

Start with the free episodes. If you are still thinking about episode 3 tomorrow, see the Premium plans and pick by how long you will really stay.

Questions people ask

How much does Candy AI cost?

Premium costs $3.99 a month on the 12-month plan (billed $47.88 once a year), $8.99 a month on the 3-month plan, and $13.99 on the 1-month plan, which showed $9.99 for the first month when I checked. Each includes unlimited text chat and 100 tokens a month. Token top-ups cost extra, and Candy does not publish their price.

How much is Candy AI per month?

Between $3.99 and $13.99, depending on the plan. The 12-month plan has the lowest monthly figure but charges $47.88 up front. The 3-month plan is $8.99 a month, billed $26.97 each quarter. All plans renew automatically at the same price and term, so cancel in Settings before the renewal date if you want out.

Does Candy AI cost money?

For most of it, yes. A free account gets 5 chat messages, one custom character, one image and the free Shorts episodes. Unlimited chat and the monthly 100 tokens, which pay for images, video, voice and paid Shorts episodes, need a Premium plan. Top-up tokens beyond the allowance cost extra at a price Candy does not show publicly.

Is there a Candy AI promo code or discount?

I found no public promo code I could verify. The real discount is the 12-month plan, $3.99 a month against $13.99. The 1-month plan also showed a first-month price of $9.99 when I checked, and Candy's terms say it may give some users bonus tokens at its own discretion. Treat any code from a coupon site as unverified until your checkout total shows the discount.

Is the 12-month plan really 70% off?

Against the $13.99 monthly price, the maths holds up, and the badge is if anything modest. The catch is that you pay $47.88 at once and it renews for the same amount. It beats the monthly plan from roughly the fourth month, so it only saves money if you will use Candy for that long and remember to cancel before renewal.

How much does it cost to finish a Candy Shorts series?

A standard five-episode series has three paid episodes at 12 tokens each, so 36 tokens in all, about a third of one month's 100. A Candy Creators series costs 30 tokens per paid episode, 90 for five episodes. Longer series cost more. On the 12-month plan, one 12-token episode comes to about $0.48.

Do tokens roll over or expire?

Candy's own pages disagree. Its terms say remaining tokens expire after your subscription ends, while a help-center article says cancelling does not delete them. I could not confirm whether unused tokens carry from one month to the next while you stay subscribed. Spend your tokens before the billing period ends and check the current terms.
