Mona, David and a house neither of them can leave
Mona’s Worst Enemy Candy Shorts is worth the free episodes for sure, and worth the tokens only if David gets under your skin: finishing costs 156 tokens, or 156% of one month’s Premium allowance. I went in for the free ones and came out arguing with a stepbrother who does not exist.
The synopsis sets a clean trap. Mona, a woman with a carefully organized worldview, is forced to share a house with the last man she would ever respect: her ultra-confident stepbrother David. What follows, on paper, is a daily battle of wits and stubbornness that turns her certainty upside down.
A rivalry suits a long series because there is always another argument to have. The risk is the usual one: rivalry stories can circle, and the setup is well worn, so everything rides on the writing. The free episodes show whether it clicks. Beyond the synopsis, I won’t pretend to know what the paid ones deliver.
Why this one outruns a month of tokens
The ladder runs 15 episodes: 2 free, then 13 paid at 12 tokens each. Finishing takes 156 tokens, 156% of the 100 that Premium hands you every month. Most Candy series are far shorter, so you will notice this bill. I saw “156%” and thought, how bad can it be? Reader, I opened the plans page.
Counted out of each plan’s allowance, finishing is worth $6.22 on the 12-month plan, $14.02 on 3 months and $21.82 on 1 month. That is plan price spread over tokens, not a separate charge. It will not fit in one month, so you either wait for the next allowance or top up with a token pack, and Candy does not publish pack prices.
Who should unlock it, and who should stop at episode 2
Start free. Episode 1 plays without an account, and episode 2 needs a free login. If you finish episode 2 wanting David to lose even one argument, unlock the rest, ideally on the 12-month plan, paced over two months of tokens. If you shrug, you have lost nothing.
Stop at the free episodes if you want a quick, cheap finish, or if $21.82 on the 1-month plan makes you wince. If the rivalry is the draw but the bill is not, My Stepsister Thinks I’m Pathetic sounds, going by the title, like the same feud from the other side of the house, and Mona’s Obsession is a shorter way to spend more time with Mona.
When the episodes end, Candy hands you to Mona Newman’s chat, which needs Premium after 5 free messages.
What works
- Room to build: 15 episodes give the feud time to turn
- Forced-proximity setup that explains itself in one sentence
- The free episodes show you the tone before you spend a token
What doesn't
- Finishing costs 156 tokens, 156% of one month's allowance
- A well-worn stepsibling setup, so it lives or dies on the writing

Mona's Worst Enemy: questions people ask
Is Mona's Worst Enemy free on Candy Shorts?
Partly. Episode 1 plays without an account, and episode 2 is free once you sign up for a free account. The other 13 episodes cost 12 tokens each, paid with the tokens that come with Premium. It lives on candy.ai; anything claiming to offer the full series free elsewhere is a fake or malware bait.
How many episodes does Mona's Worst Enemy have, and what does finishing cost?
15 episodes: 2 free and 13 paid at 12 tokens each, so 156 tokens to finish. That is 156% of the 100 tokens Premium gives you per month. Counted out of each plan's allowance, it is worth $6.22 on the 12-month plan, $14.02 on 3 months or $21.82 on 1 month.
Who is Mona Newman in Mona's Worst Enemy?
Mona Newman is the lead: the woman at the center of the synopsis, forced to share a house with her stepbrother David. It is a regular Candy character series, not a Candy Creators one, so no licensed AI twin of a real star is involved. After the episodes, Candy hands you to Mona Newman's chat, which needs Premium once the 5 free messages run out.
Is Mona's Worst Enemy worth the tokens?
Only if the free episodes hook you. Finishing costs 156 tokens, 156% of a month's allowance, which is a lot for one series. It makes the most sense on the 12-month plan, where tokens are cheapest. If episode 2 leaves you cold, stop there and save the tokens for a shorter series.
